A week before Mom’s birthday we celebrated already since we knew Mom was leaving. We wanted to give her a dose of her own medicine!! She always takes care of all of us and takes care of all the celebrations for the family, so this time, we wanted to prepare something for her.
We thought of treating her to high tea in flower theme which she likes. Each of us took care of something for the celebration
Thank you to Fr. Julian or celebrating the Holy mass for Mom’s birthday. He is a part of the family so we were happy he could celebrate with us
Pam was our stylist and she gave the guidelines for the attire which was stripes for the guys ( though some came in plaid hmmm… 
) and floral for the girls…with a hat to go with the high tea event
Rustan’s Flower shop headed by my sister Maricar in collaboration with Tea with Madeleine set up the venue of our High Tea celebration
I was in charge of the food and contacted different caterers and we all voted for Farah to do it. We all thought she was the perfect choice and though this was her first time to actually have a high tea event, the food was really delicious and perfect for the event. Thank you Farah!!!

Margs, Krie and Pam - the sisters in law - were in charge of the program and they did such a good job! Maricar and I are lucky we have amazing sisters in law to help us I made a video ( unedited ) putting together some highlights of the program. I felt that photos cannot replace many things that a video can capture. Reactions, emotions, and just witnessing what really happened. So I have it both in video and in photos

Again, Happy Birthday Little Mrs. Sunshine who brings sunshine to everyone! Looks like I missed those guys that made you smile so much You deserve all the happiness!

My friends always tease me that I celebrate Christmas so early, apparently, there is someone who is even earlier than me! My Mom! :-) I came from her house last night and she had her Christmas tree set up already! Every year she sets up her tree by end of September
She changes her theme every year and Rustan’s Flower shop mixes and matches all the decor that she has which doesn’t mean having to buy everything new every year

We had dinner and it was also already christmas table setting!
And I realize, it’s because we are all in the retail business where Christmas planning starts very early because it’s the biggest season of the year. Everyone prepares for it and when I was also in the department store and flower shop, I remember doing all of this and Christmas did start in September officially though you can imagine that the buying really starts as early as March! Now it is Mom and my sister, Maricar, who are behind the beautiful Rustan’s Flower Shop

Heart2Heart really admires creative people! I am a frustrated artist and creativity is not something that you can just really learn but it is something inborn. Creativity is God given and that is what God wants us to do, make the most of what he gives us. I was so happy to meet Jo during Lindy’s 40th birthday celebration ( The 40 Bash with Anna, Derick, Javey and Lindy April 24, 2011 ). A very talented artist!
Jo recently had a workshop with Rustan’s, Lovearamics@Rustan’s. Jo is so talented!!!!
