So happy to see my highschool classmate Roselyn! She was here for a few days only and I made sure I got to see her. We had merienda and she wanted to have bibingka so we went to Via Mare in Powerplant Mall at Rockwell. We even bumped into another classmate there, Sandie!
Here is Roselyn with her bibingka YUMMY! Enjoyed catching up with her even for a short while, she is hilarious!
Roselyn is a foodie and has her own food blog!
I cannot even keep up with her because she is travelling everywhere. Click on the link below to go to her website:
Roselyn now lives in Bali since her husband, Alejandro, is the General Manager of the Bulgari resort
I was hoping that one day I would go to Bali and visit Roselyn there, maybe one day…..but here are some photos from Roselyn
Roselyn and Alejandro happily live in Bali with their two children Jerome and Camille
It was so nice visiting the Assumption Bazaar today at the Intercon Hotel!! From downstairs i could hear the kids singing and it was just beautiful!! I love the kids from Assumption Malibay when they sing!! I was so happy first thing in the morning

In celebration for finishing and raising the money we needed, we had a reunion of batchmates
Here is another video which I made to put together how we planned for the event and how WE ALL HAD A LOT OF FUN!
It took almost a year to plan and organize for that one evening and it was all worth it.
I would like to thank the committee heads and members for all the hard work they put into making this a great success!
Each and everyone participated - whether small or big - what matters is everyone’s willingness to participate and give to our batch. And we had fun because we all put our hearts into this.
“People obtain pure joy not because they
do great things, but, because they do
small ones with great
love”
As I said, it would have probably been a piece of cake for a few batchmates to just donate the cash, but then it would have defeated the purpose of working together and allowing others to partake and GIVE something from themselves. To GIVE FROM THE HEART. It’s because they gave from the heart that many have given more than what is expected.
It’s not always the end product but it’s how all the pieces came together into place- all the meetings, the
coordination, the planning which made the batch stronger as a group
“Life is not about destination, It’s about the journey of
being the best person you can be, and being there to make people happy andgive a helping hand.
It’s about the little things we do along the way that makes our journey and the journey of other people more memorable”
Thank you Tessa for the article which I only saw yesterday which my cousin, Ana, sent me. You said it perfectly, we hit 2 birds with one stone:
Thanks Toots Magsino, our creative artist, for this beautiful collage
I love my batch very much! They are the best! I love my school. They complete me :-)
As we are preparing for our Velada for next year, we have been fundraising and because of this, we are getting together, working together, bonding and bonding. It has been fun seeing old batchmates and catching up with them.
I prepared a slideshow ( in my amateur ways ) to put together a short history of us and what we have been doing in preparation for our Velada next year. Nothing is more important and more meaningful when you do things - SMALL or BIG - as long as you do them with GREAT LOVE. This is from the HEART
3 more days and we will be having lots and lots of fun at our Assumption batch ‘87 reunion!!! But please be informed that we have been having fun since a long time ago and continue to still have fun even before the event
Thanks to the head of our Ticket committee, Peachy Zulueta-Maxwald for treating us to a salon day at her beautiful salon! SUPER FUN and SUPER ENJOY chatting with the girls and making chismis! haha!! It was supposed to be a ticket committee meeting…hmmmm…..But Peachy said she really wanted to treat the ticket committee for working so hard selling tickets and following up payments!
This could really be a nice venue to have a girls outing together, we made sure we were all facing each other
Of course, Peachy was still working and balancing her accounts receivables :-)
And here is Lau and Peachy happy to receive their check payments!!
Not only did we have hair treatments, we had food and drinks!

In a few months, With the help of Tito Frank Drilon, Our Assumption batch will help build a classroom in Porac, Pampanga! Thank you Tito Frank! What a great advocacy!!
Our roadtrip led us to Katutubo Elementary School where Assumption sometimes holds their immersions. We were also happy to find out that Xavier School is the main donor for this school through the Mena Foundation of Fr. Mena
They also have feeding programs here
The school caters to the Ayta tribe in the area, they have a very cute village around the school
They remove their slippers before going inside the classroom
